Production System

The investment works began in January 2021, and contrary to the previously planned start which would have been at the end of June 2021, the first fish did not arrive at the facility until March 2022. All of this is due to the aftermath of Covid-19, the increase in raw material prices and the fact that we were innovators within the ranks of Hungary.

Our 2.7-hectare industrial plot is giving home to two lightweight halls (area 1800m2-1440m2), which accommodate 6 rows of pools operating on the recirculation principle with a total of 15 pools. All you need to know about intensive fish rearing systems is that they require a minimum of 5-8% fresh water per day and that the water in the system continuously flows and cleans it automatically, under control. The amount of water used and purified in this way is around 3,000 m3.

Our fish breeding system accommodates fishes of all sizes, from 0.2 dkg fish to 1.8 kg cutting weight fish, in order to ensure continuous production and supply. For the sake of the production goal and the perfect quality of the catfish fillet, we tried a lot (about 15) types of food, and at the end of the procedure we received a uniquely developed insect-protein food with a protein content of 42%.

At full capacity, our farm provides a living for 35 workers, of which 12+2 will work in fish farming, 12+2 in the processing plant, and 4 in the fertilizer production plant, in addition, 3 employees of the office department belong to the 35-person team.
